Camp Noggin was an annual camp sponsored by AutismCanadianValley.org for eight summers that offered children in Canadian County the opportunity to attend camp in a safe and secure environment. The benefits of camp for children with special needs are the same as they would be for any child. These include increased confidence and independence, activity and exercise, the opportunity to interact with other children, develop friendships, and build relationships, plus positive role modeling by peers, college students, and adults.
