OPTION #1: We will have a focus group featuring Dale Spoonemore and Beth DeGrace to listen to your ideas and learn about the challenges of adults on the spectrum. Dale & Beth will be there to facilitate the discussion.
Dale Spoonemore is the owner and creator of Seed to Spoon, a popular gardening app. Dale and his wife, Carrie, started Seed to Spoon to help people grow food. He learned to code and started building the app in the fall of 2017 and it was released as version 1 in January, 2018. His app has over 700,000 downloads. Dale has autism and is passionate about using his knowledge and lessons from his life and work with technology to make a positive impact on the world.
Dr. Beth DeGrace is an Occupational Therapist and on the board of AutismOklahoma. She believes that how individuals and families spend their time gives meaning to life and is an important determinant of health/wellbeing. Beth is married to Derek DeGrace, they have 3 children and live in Edmond.
